Ever wonder when the entire city went black for an hour not because of power cutting but a world wide charity project to raise awareness ( a.k.a. Powerful message to the world) that everyone can make a difference to our climate change now. * Save water, save eletricity, recycle..etc SAVE THE WORLD*
What started as a city project in Sydney back in year 2007 where 2.2 millions households and businesses joined together to switch off their light for one hour on 31 March. But a year later, the project went global and more than 370 cities in 35 counties participated in this project.

This year WWF Malaysia has signed Malaysia up for this global event - Earth Hour, and this year, Earth Hour 2009 is targetting to reach 1 Billion people over 1000 cities!! So now, jot down 28 March 2009 ( Saturday), 8.30pm and do it!
Lets switch off the lights altogether okay? For mother nature, for our future.
